White & Case Named Russian Law Firm of the Year 2006

Moscow, April 12, 2006 — White & Case has been named Russian Law Firm of the Year 2006 by Who’s Who Legal. The award, announced in The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers 2006, is based on nominations from clients and private practice professionals. White & Case is the first-ever recipient of the award in Russia.

The guide listed White & Case under five different practice areas and featured more of its lawyers than any other firm in the country. It referred to White & Case as “the pre-eminent firm” with “outstanding individual talent and breadth of expertise.”

In determining the leading law firm in a given jurisdiction, Who’s Who Legal considers the number of ranked partners from the firm, the number of practice areas in which the firm is featured, its past performance and the aggregate total of weighted votes cast by peers and clients in favor of lawyers at the firm, relative to those of other firms in the jurisdiction.
